Bolivia’s is one of our Foundation dams. Her incredible presence, upright carriage, even temperament, excellent fleece quality and coverage, and enviable genetics make her very desirable to a deep colored breeding program. Bolivia is our perfect foundation girl model. She has produced two stunning blue ribbon girls. She's a top girl who we breed to top studs.

Check out the dark brown/rose grey female, Libby, her 2004 daughter sired by the late Victor’s Vic Jr. & bay black Sable, her '05 daughter sired by true black Patagonia's Compadre for the quality she produces. See Stonyridge Alpacas (OR) foundation list for these gorgeous offspring!

Her sire, AFR’s Hong Kong, is a Victor son, and is out of an exceptional import, Pperuvian Ada. His white color misleads his genetics as he consistently produced deep color when bred to color. He brings Accoyo genetics to Bolivia’s strong color pedigree.

Given Bolivia's grey ancestors, and Libby's grey '07 female cria & '08 rose grey male out of breedings to Aussie Rockford, he was chosen as Bolivia's mate for her '09 cria. With Rockford's consistent record of show quality and champion offspring, we have high hopes for this next cria (see update below).

Her current histogram can be viewed here, and her ARI certificate here.

Update 7/22/09: Bolivia had a female cria this afternoon! We've named her Rockford's Argentina, and are calling her Tina. She is a little over 14 lbs.

Update 8/1/10: This evening, Bolivia came through on all counts, and delivered a beautiful black female, just about 15 lbs., sired by GNLC Maximus Pacus. She was born just after a hailstorm, so she named herself FARL's Hailstorm and we call her Hailey.

Update 8/29/11: Late this afternoon, Bolivia gave birth to a little male, sired by our stud, Stonyridge Midnight Eclipse. We've name this litte guy "FARL's Wilbur Wright" - shortened to "Wee Willie".

Bolivia is trained and handled in the CameliDynamics (TM) way, so she's a pretty easy gal on a halter.

She has never been shown.
