Ginny is one of our Foundation dams, a very sweet tempered girl with terrific mothering instincts and who produces beautiful babies. Her conformation is good, and while her fleece is on the coarse side without a lot of character, we've made special efforts to only breed her to high impact studs who stamp their offspring with their wonderful conformation and fleece characteristics. (She is affectionately known as my "walking rug".) I love her topknot - to me she always looks like the harried mother who didn't have time to comb her hair properly.
Her first cria for us was born on September 13, 2008, and was named "Dust Storm" (AKA "Dusty"), sired by MFI Peruvian Glacial Storm, one of the "Studmasters" (now deceased)..
On September 18, 2009, she produced a beautiful medium fawn male cria from MFI Peruvian Escalade, another "Studmaster", who we named "FARL's Cotton Eyed Joe" (AKA "Joey") and he looks to be one of the best cria both conformation and fleece-wise that we've produced in our herd to date.
She is a dually listed alpaca, both in the Alpaca Registry (ARI) for the United States, and also in Canada (CLAA).
Her current histogram can be viewed here, her ARI certificate here, and her Canadian certificate here.
She is being trained the CAMELIDynamics (TM) way to make it even easier to handle her. She's a very calm little lady.
She has never been shown.
